Creepy and fun. My daughter was not a fan of the clown, but belly laughed at the whopping big bee. ( )

"Tree Ring Circus" is a silly poem about circus animals escaping and trying to hide in a tree from the circus owners. The illustrations are fun, colorful and humorous and help tell the story. The story itself is fun to read and is written to make children laugh. My biggest complaint about the book is that it uses multiple fonts and some of them are difficult to read. A child reading this book on their own could struggle with parts of it. Because it features a lot of numbers and animals, this book could be used with younger children to introduce numbers, counting, and different kinds of animals.

The engaging illustrations are sure to suprise! original and full of fun, kids are delighted with the silliness of all different kinds of wierd animals and creatures in a tree.

Comical and classy in text and art. There aren't many kids' books I'd pay $20 for, but this is one. Superb entertainment, bravo! ( )
