Witches and Historians is an anthology of writings about the outbreak of witchcraft that occurred in Salem, Massachusetts in 1692. The book shows how interpretations have evolved over the past three centuries and how historians have drawn on the perspectives of anthropology, sociology, medicine, women's studies, psychology and other disciplines to explain the events at Salem.
