An unplanned pregnancy. An absent father. Can love really endure all things?

Danielle Kent is anything but Amish. But as destiny would have it, she has fallen in love with an Amish man.

Now she's 18, pregnant, and hopeful that the child's Amish father??Matthew Lapp??will do the right thing and marry her. She knows Matthew plans to leave his Colorado settlement for a life in the Englisch world. But that plan never included a baby.

When Matthew walks away from her and their unborn child, she has nowhere to turn. Her unlikely friendship with Levi offers some comfort??yet they have so little in common. This wasn't the plan she had for her life, and she has never felt so alone. She doesn't want to be pregnant. Doesn't want to be Amish. Doesn't want to trust God.

And yet.

God has plans beyond what her mind can imagine . . . loving plans to show a lost young woman that His love never fails but endures forever.

Can be read as a stand alone story, BUT . . you will miss so much of the background to this story if you don't read the 1st two books before this one (and they are all very good). In this story Danielle is a 18 year old young lady with a troubled past, living in an Amish community as an Englisher in Colorado. Sadly, thinking she is in love, she becomes pregnant and then finds out the Amish boy doesn't want anything to do with Danielle now and flees the state. Danielle's good friend, Levi, feels God calling him to marry Danielle and take care of the unborn baby as his own, which will mean he will have to leave the Amish way of life, which he loves.

There will be many distraught family members when this news hits the community. But these two young people will make it work and their friendship will turn to real solid love. Watching everyone struggle to love and get along and also watching how the Lord leads and guides Danielle in her faith was very rewarding. I have always enjoyed "Martha" in this series, and she never fails to make me smile. This is a series about the Amish community that will stay with me after I have closed the books. Good job Beth Wiseman. ( )

What a great book. Good job Beth.

This was book 3 in the Land of Canaan Series, I will be honest it took me a few pages to remember who everyone was but hey I read a lot. I have read over 80 books so far this year.

Danielle, who we know was abused from a previous book, thinks she finds love with Matthew. Danielle finds out she is pregnant and when she tells Matthew he runs. Danielle's best friend Levi belives God has told him to marry Danielle. This is there story.

Spoiler Alert....
Thank you Beth for not having an accident in this book. Thank you for just a honest book about blended families. I really hope we have another and find out what happens to Uncle Noah. ( )

“His Love Endures Forever” by Beth Wiseman is one of the best books I have read in this genre. It’s the story of a non-Amish girl, who gets pregnant by an Amish man who is not happy about the situation and virtually runs away from her and his Amish family. He had determined that he would not life his life Amish. Danielle turns to her best friend, Levi, with whom she has been friends for a long while. Levi definitely keeps to the Amish tradition and has planned to marry an Amish girl and raise his children as Amish also. He is a very trustworthy man and seeks answers from God as to what he should do to help Danielle. Danielle has led a hard life. Her mother was abusive, her father left her when she was little and she was eventually raised by a kind woman who looks on Danielle as her daughter. Levi finally decides that his place is with Danielle. This is the story of their early marriage and the problems they encounter as Danielle marries an Amish man and tries to do her best as his wife. They encounter opposition from the Amish community and interference from Levi’s mother.

This is a heartwarming romantic novel with just enough trials and tribulations to keep you turning the pages. I loved this book and I highly recommend it for anyone with a kind and sensitive heart.

I received a free Kindle copy of this book for my honest review from the publisher. The opinions expressed here are my own.

Danielle Kent (who is not Amish) is in love with Matthew Lapp (who is Amish). Although he's Amish, his desire has always been to go to school and live in the Englisch world. So when Danielle finds out she's pregnant with Matthew's child she thinks he'll be happy and want to marry her. After all, he planned to leave anyway. Danielle is devastated when Matthew chooses to walk away. Now what will she do? Danielle feels so alone. Her best friend, Levi, gives her some comfort and support but they are from two different worlds. Levi loves being Amish and trusts God for everything and Danielle knows she can't trust God for anything. But God knows the plans He has for them and they are ones Levi and Danielle can only imagine.

Let me start first by saying that Amish fiction is not my usual genre. But this story sounded very intriguing to me so I decided I'd like to try it. WOW! I am SO glad I did! His Love Endures Forever is an amazing story. I got caught up in the lives of these folks from the first page and devoured it in two sittings. I had a hard time putting it down. And although it is the third book in A Land of Canaan series, I didn't feel lost at all. Levi is a man that you just fall in love with. His sweet and gentle ways are so endearing. Danielle was a sweet girl with a troubled past who wanted only to be loved. The way Levi was with Danielle was awesome. To me, it was a beautiful picture of God's love toward us. The kind of love that changes hearts and lives. I loved the dialog between them and especially when Levi used his special name for Danielle! So sweet. This story is loaded with lots of family dynamics that keep you glued to the pages to see what will happen next. The ending was great but there were a few things left open that make me think there might be another book coming. If you've never read Amish fiction before but would like to give it a try, His Love Endures Forever is one I would highly recommend. I will be adding 'Seek Me with All Your Heart' and 'The Wonder of Your Love' to my reading list!
