A very fast paced zombie book. Part of an apparent series that I should read. Not bad. ( )

A nice try Mr. Schubert. I really do want to support local authors, but there were a few too many typos and a few too many red herrings. I really wanted to like this book, but this read a lot like a manuscript first draft of what could have been a mediocre story about zombies in Alaska. It could have really used a serious editor.

Personally, the only thing this story really had going for it was that it was set in Anchorage. The familiarity of Anchorage was a nice touch but this book seemed like one of the first cut chapters from World War Z. There's no catch, there very little character development, and of the little character development there is, it is mostly cliche. Rumor has it that this is just the first part of a trilogy. Woe be to the reader. Please, Mr. Schubert, hire an editor, or at least have 5 different people read your book before you self publish again. ( )
