Cassie fell on hard times and heads to Scotland to stay with her brother, he pulls a disappearing act and after several setbacks she almost freezes to death when Hal discovers her. The Dragon Kings are not suppose to get involved with humans but their pull won't be denied. Lots of dangling threads, which I assume will be fleshed out in future books. Brief mentions of the Dark Sword and Druids Glen characters.

The beginning of this story pulled me right in.. and it was good, I liked the characters, but a few errors, missing words and/or sentences where they shouldn't be kinda dropped what would have been the 4th star for me. (

"4 out of 5 stars! Looking for a new beginning, a woman moves to Scotland to be closer to her brother and ends up getting more than she bargained for with her hot new neighbor!

It’s a great start to this series! I liked how “self-involved” it was, meaning the only danger this novella had was the main characters (along with their friends/comrades assistance) messing up their own love lives."

Lots of insta love, some hot scenes, and decent writing. However, this book really didn't suck me in. It's a quick read, but it just didn't click with me. (
