I wanted to slap Julia. Repeatedly.
This was an EPIC love story.
So if there was ever a time where I wanted to reach into a book and SLAP a character, it was while reading this one.
I wanted to shake Julia senseless. I wanted to scream at her and slap her repeatedly.
I loved how the butterfly weeds were woven into the story and the metaphor they provided (for both Will's love for Julia and their life journey)
BUT, where Julia lacked in courage and emotional availability, Will made up for completely. I loved the way the author painted Will's quiet and unwavering strength.... The moments where you could sense his pain without him saying a word and his unflappable commitment to the love of his life...... sigh
I should warn you though, I found the ending immensely heart wrenching. It is HEA ending but author Laura Miller totally pulled my heartstrings at the conclusion of this story. I was a sobbing mess but I'm still grateful xo (
