Fun and funny and at times surprisingly complicated. I kept whirring back and forth between--this book shows how ridiculous biographical readings of poems are, no, this book shows how inevitable and charged personal readings of poems are. This book shows that reading is a process of translation, no, this book lampoons our need to essentialize and understand and diminish....The book kept spinning, that was the good part. Plus it often made me laugh out loud. ( )
