Ray has never encountered another werewolf, and has remained human all his life. His choice of job, making clothes for dogs, speaks for itself and made me grin. When he encounters his first werewolf he has no clue what to do. The immediate attraction confuses him, and the logical thing to do is deny it. Not that it works!
Doc is used to living in a pack, but follows his previous lover to the city anyway. Big mistake. When he runs into Ray, he is determined not to make the same mistake again. As soon as Ray makes it clear he doesn’t want to move, Doc leaves. Even bigger mistake! This time, though, he is willing to listen to what his heart tells him, and that makes all the difference.
If you’re looking for a fun read, some great characters that will make you smile and a simple, but well-rounded story, give this one a try. For such a short story, it had a significant impact on me.
