Better than book #2, their relationship was a bit more stable and less of a yoyo. Still not impressed with either character, they're all ridiculous children. ( )

one more book to go before i can start book 5!

The only reason I can not give a 5 star review is because I felt there was not ending, or cliffhanger, It did not have an ending. I loved watching how strong Eva and Gideon's relationship and love have grown throw out their time apart from Book 2. Slyvia Day wrote an amazing book; Corrine is still up to her usual to try to get Gideon, we see Brett in this book and we are introduced to more of Gideons past but through out it Eva is more secure and strong in their relationship. My only issue is that I hope we do not have to wait for Book 4 and Book 5 to come out because I have more questions. We see that Eva has come to terms with Nathan's death and the horrible things he did to her, with Gideon's help but I can also see that Gideon has to face his demons and can see why another book is needed. Did I mention Gideon's mother has took out the biatch claws yep...take a chance and read it their is no ending but you do see growth from the pair ( )

I wasn't planning to read anymore of these after I found out there would be more than the original 3 books. Nothing pisses me off more than greed! While I do feel this could have been the last book, I did enjoy the hell out of it. I LOVED book one while book two just didn't quite make the mark. This book redeemed the series for me as I will always love the relationship between Gideon and Eva. I'm also looking forward to a true HEA for them. I don't enjoy the stupid decisions somebody smart like Eva makes so often. I agree with another GR review that she needs to stay away from former lovers. I really didn't like her keeping the marriage a secret or think her reasons are valid. She just seems a bit immature. I hope cheating isn't in the future as that is definitely a place I won't go when I read. It just takes all the enjoyment out of the romance part for me. I like books where the H/h are all about one another. I would love to see Eva mature and take charge of her shit and marriage. She could put all the bitches in their place which I would enjoy the hell out of.....and, in the process keep her men (Gideon and Cary) close! ( )

After re-reading the first two books in the series, I really forgot how much I loved this one. It has everything one could want in a book. A great plot, great writing, great setting and great characters. Not only are both of the main characters awesome, but so are all the side characters. But don't be fooled. This is not an entirely light read. At times it can be pretty dark.

Gideon and Eva continue to be one of my absolute favorite book couples! I loved re-reading this book, and series again. Definitely a good series to read. I recommend it.
