This is a fun, quite ridiculous, apocalypse story. As you can expect from Yahtzee, if you've seen his videos, the writing is very clever and engaging.

Definitely worth the read. (

Thought i had added a review for this before but apparently not. Its good, its very solid only flaws are people being ironic which feels dated, and some pacing issues.
Its starts off quite fast and seems like its going to be a continuous adventure moving from place to place then about a third of the way through we find ourselves in one particular area in which we stay for most of the remainder of the story. So it ends up feeling a bit slow compared to the opening.

Plot wise, think 'Shaun of the Dead' (complete with somewhat hard to like characters) but with more of 'The Blob', rather than a zombie apocalypse. (

Excellent apocalyptic book! This book has all the death, destruction and instability you would expect from an apocalyptic novel while still be completely and totally hilarious. Loved the characters (especially Mary, the spider) and really loved the jampocalypse. Worth reading! (
