Carina Fiore, a pet groomer working out of veterinarian Cameron McKenzie's office, and also helps him in his personal life by taking care of his daughter, Kaitlyn. She has secretly been in love with him for over a year but needs a little push to gain the courage to risk their friendship by letting him know how she feels. Once she does, she has to make a decision about whether she should stay in their lives and live only a half-life without his returning her feelings. It takes a bit of tough love before he sees what has been there all along.
(This story takes place shortly before the Hendrix triplets joint wedding.)
