A cute and funny collection! Some sexual content, so not exactly a kid series - more like a Monster High for the older teen/adult audience. None of the stories takes itself too seriously and its a good book to relax with and spend the day reading. Some of the chapter intermingle elegently too. ( )Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Member Giveaways geschrieben. Robots, Unicorns and Werewolves! Oh My.Along with banshees, gargoyles, inter-dimensional time travelers, mad scientists, to name a few are just trying to get through public school alongside the regular student population. This is a very clever and funny set of short stories that are guaranteed to raise a smile - and in some cases the dead as well. It’s a great read but be warned, it may bring back memories of some of your own horrific teenage experiences! I received this book for free in exchange for a fair review. Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Member Giveaways geschrieben. This book is a collection of short stories about monster teenagers in high school. The stories don't seem to connect all that much between each, however, the book is still pretty good. I really enjoyed the monsters being in a traditional "human" school and having to deal with many of the same issues the human teenagers are dealing with as well. This book has some sexual innuendo which would discourage me from recommending this book for younger readers. Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Member Giveaways geschrieben. This is a collection of short stories about monster teenagers. There are a lot of sexual references. I had trouble finding a connection between all of the stories and truly getting into the book. Still, perhaps for the intended audience (15-16 year old)this may be a good, fast read. Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Member Giveaways geschrieben. 16 short stories loosely related and all taking place in a human high school. It takes a special flexible imagination to really enjoy reading about teenagers and their trials and tribulations in school. Well worth the time and enjoyable for the layers of insight into both human teenagers and what "monster teenager" would have to work through to grow up "right". Much more mature material not meant for the truly young reader. Sexual innuendo abounds and what would High School BE without Sex and it's allure? keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
