It had a mix of classic horror and modern. The theme isn't apparent in all of the stories, which is places or situations you shouldn't enter. I enjoyed all the stories, which is very rare for an anthology. The Sir Arthur Conan Doyle one was awesome. I love revenge! Cet ouvrage porte bien son nom d’ “Enter at your own risk” : moi j’ai été forcé de rester dehors. The catalogue entry for this book is linked incorrectly to Book of the Dead. I won an Early Reviewer Copy of Book of the Dead (Edited by Alex Scully) which I have reviewed here: http://www.librarything.com/work/15468593/reviews/113836860 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

This collection of short stories is a real mixed bag. I liked the idea of the theme, "be careful what you wish for." In execution, some of the stories come off like something you would find in an old EC comic. This is not always a bad thing.
I liked the mix of classic and modern fiction, although some of the classics were real duds. My favorite piece was "Bad Things Happen." This started off the book on a high point that none of the other stories quite attained.
Overall, I could take or leave this collection. ( )
