Ok, so maybe i'm a couple years (decades) older than the target demographic, but I can't help it that some of my favorite books are from the YA genre. Reading these makes me feel young LOL What I liked so much about this book was the story (already started the 2nd book and can't wait to read them all),the characters (young, fun, realistic and just enough spunk and angst), the setting (keep wishing i had gone to a boarding school like that), the writing (no complaints. none. story flowed well, made sense, kept me engaged, was easy to read and entertaining) the whole thing reminded me of reading Enid Blyton's "The Twins at St. Clare's" series when I was young. what more can you ask for? I sure can't. I'm happy, happy, happy with this series. love, love, love this book. When Jane Austen Academy goes co-ed, new intrigues and attractions gently bubble up even as a new headmistress steps forward to change many of the school's valued traditions. Recommended. Reviewed from galley received from the publisher via NetGalley.com. (44) Sissy says: Fall For You has all the requisite emotions of YA high schoolishness and is well-written enough to make it a pleasant Friday afternoon reading distraction. I didn’t like it as a Pride and Prejudice retelling, because I thought the parallels were too vaguely drawn. I give it 3.5 bubbles. Bubby says: I agree that it was quite difficult to find traces of Pride and Prejudice in this story, so I’ve decided to ignore that bit and just review it as a regular young adult story. The best part of Fall For You is that everything works out. Cecilia Gray really wraps up the story nicely and ties it with a pretty bow. 3.5 bubbles for me too.
