Capital Crimes is two short stories that seem like they were written by a beginning writer. There was no trying to guess who did the killing. The characters were not likeable. The story was not likeable either. Do not rate the Kellermans on this book. It is unlike any of their other books. Three stars were given to this book. ( )

I love Jonathan Kellerman's Alex Delaware series. Likewise Faye Kellerman's Decker series, but I have tried three times to read this book and I just can't wrap my mind around it nor can I find what I especially like about either of their writing. Sorry guys, two stars. (Keep writing those other one - I'll eat them up!) ( )

This book was a combination of two stories - one each from the authors, with their main characters taking a subsidiary part in the tales. I liked the Jonathan Kellerman story the best, but neither tale was as satisfying as some of their other works. ( )
