From 1984 to 1995, the CCCB passed the thirty-eight decrees presented in this publication. Each decree is preceded by the canon that it is intended to supplement and followed by a canonical and pastoral commentary, prepared by canonists and approved by the Permanent Council of the Conference. This publication will make it easier for pastors and others in the Church with an interest in Canadian ecclesial legislation to consult these texts of Canadian, particular law and to apply them as appropriate to pastoral ministry in our country.
