We did not read the other books first, but were able to piece together people drawn from previous books.
We were sorely disappointed by the end---is there another book, or is that it? All that was at the end of the book was blank pages and chapter 4 then chapter 3 of a book that looked like it might be the first in the series??

The boys enjoyed it until the end...quick, action... ( )

My family and I read this series on a looong car ride cross county. It suited everyone and made for a great family memory. ( )

This book is about three children named tucket, billy, and lottie. in this story the children go out to find tuchets parents when they got seperated when he got taken by indians in the last book. now he is trying to find his way home to the west when he gets side traked in mexico. as the young tucket fights for his and his fellow childrens lives he meets many friends and enemies along the way. with his fight for survival raging on he gets taken by the a group of mexican men named comancheros. this was the finall act which turn young tucket into a young man and the true fight for his life to get to his friends and parents.
