Through the Ten Commandments, God provides us with moral principles for living in right relationship with God and with one another. Christian Morality and Justice Catechist's Guide contains ten sessions to help young adolescents understand these basic moral principles and explore how we apply them to the choices we make every day. The basic activities form 60-minute sessions and have optional session extensions that make it easy to plan longer sessions. Seven of the sessions connect directly to The Catholic Connections Handbook for Middle Schoolers (Saint Mary's Press, 2009) and cover basic teachings about Christian morality based on the Ten Commandments. Two sessions apply these basic moral principles to the topics of money and technology. The concluding session asks the young people to make God's goal for their lives their own personal life goal. The guide also includes an optional project on movies and moral choices.
