Thor ontdekt dat zijn vader niet zijn vader is, en zijn moeder een Druïde. Waarom hij achtergelaten is in de handen van een man die niet van hem houdt, is nog een raadsel, dat vast in een van de komende 13 delen opgelost gaat worden. De hoofdrolspelers worden steeds net op het nippertje gered van de dood, en de slechteriken zijn zo slecht, dat het een wonder is dat er nog iemand overblijft. Er is wat romantiek in het verhaal. Ook blijf ik herhalen dat deze boeken echt een goede editor nodig hebben, want er zitten veel te veel fouten in die je als serieuze schrijver/uitgever niet kan maken. En wat me dan helemaal irriteert zijn zinnen als deze: .. ze renden en renden.. .. liepen en liepen.. en soortgelijke zinnen.
