This book is a good book because it teaches the reader about incredibly important artists from history and what they "saw" and showed in their paintings and drawings. This book could be used to discuss art history and how it has changed throughout the years, and it could also be used to discuss important famous artists and their impact on the arts through the years. For beginners and their parents/ babysitters. Not just art appreciation, but as the last page makes clear, it's also meant to help us understand that anyone can create art, because everyone sees the world in their own way and so has something to share. I especially appreciated No one saw music like Marc Chagall."" The genre of this book is informational. For every famous artist mentioned in the book, the author wrote, "No one saw ___ like ____ did." This book tells of very well-known artists, and what their most famous subjects were for their pieces. Artists such as van Gogh, Degas, and O'Keeffe are mentioned. It stresses how no one saw different things like these artists did. At the end of the book, it encourages the reader to look at things like nobody else does. I would use this book as a first place discussion to begin art lessons, and to get kids' minds flowing creatively. This is an example of a historical fiction book. The book is about different views and different paintings from different artists. It shows the history of the artist because each page says,"No one saw and then a specific feature that the artist is famous for. For example, a page of the book says, "No one saw stars like Van Gogh."(Raczka, 5) This is pointing out what each artist is famous and known for. It shows that each artist has a particular style and something that makes them unique from another artist. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
