Not fantastic, and Chadbourne's art is an acquired taste, but it's an interesting glimpse into what would turn out to be King's greatest villain. ( )

Interesting illustrated poem by Stephen King. The poetry was a worthy effort but not grand, but the illustrations were very well done and creepy. ( )

An interesting work to add to a serious Stephen King collector, but nothing to jump up and down about. And at a cover price of $25, I'd have to say it is quite a rip off. ( )

This was a interesting little book. I got so absorbed looking at the drawings I didn't even notice the poem. I definitely would never want to meet the Dark Man. All in all it was a wonderful poem and I highly recommend this book. ( )

This is a very short poem written by Stephen King. The text resembles the dark, twisted machinations of King's early work. Glen Chadbourne illustrates the poem in a way that conveys violence and horror. While the poem may not pop by itself, the book shows how a marriage between illustration and words can create an atmosphere. Pick this up if you are a die-hard fan of either creator. ( )
