A chance encounter . . . Grace Warren's life is safe and predictable-exactly the way she likes it. But when she gets roped into going to an auction to help out a friend, everything changes. She meets Seth Tuttle-a guy who unexpectedly kisses her then disappears, leaving her flustered and upset. If she never sees him again, it will be too soon. A chance for love . . . Weeks later, when Seth limps into Grace's rehab clinic post surgery, he's every bit as frustrating and annoying as she remembered. Yet there's something about him that makes her second-guess her carefully placed boundaries even though he's everything she's sure she doesn't want in a man. But maybe Seth is exactly what Grace has needed all along-assuming she's willing to risk safe and predictable for a chance at love.… (mehr)

This is quite possibly one of my favorite books!

I was offered this free ebook if I gave an honest opinion in exchange. I would have paid for this book, that is how much I loved it. I mean what girl wouldnt die to fall in love with the "bad boy/thrill seeker/drop dead gorgeous type"?

This book started out with Seth trying to give a butt load of money to Lanna for her charity work. Now, any girl who has read romance novels who figure that this book revolved around those two hooking up......WRONG! Out of left field come Grace. Grace just happens to be somewhere bidding on male dates (have to read the book to know what I actually mean by this) when she first meets Seth. This first interaction is a doozy too!

Seth ends up having to see Grace on almost a daily basis due to an injury he sustained while being Mr. Daredevil. This book had me laughing and actually looking back on some of the guys I dated and agreeing with some of the decisions and situations that the main characters had.

This book is a clean and fun and light hearted read. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! ( )

I've never read any of Rachael Anderson's books prior to Working It Out, but I have a weakness for cute romance novels so I decided to give it a try even though I didn't know what to expect. I'm glad I did because I ended up enjoying it!

Grace Warren likes to live on the safe side, especially after witnessing a family member's accident and working as a physical therapist. Now enter Seth, the wild card who lives on the adventurous side. The two meet unexpectedly at an auction event for an organization run by Seth's friend, and Grace begins to realize that maybe a little bit of risk isn't so bad.

Frequently in romance novels, the main character is weak and frustrating which makes it difficult to connect to them and the story less enjoyable. However, this was luckily not the case in Working It Out. Both Seth and Grace were likeable characters, although they occasionally had their moments. I appreciated how the relationship between Seth and Grace began as a "hate to love" rather than a "love at first sight." This allowed for the exchange of witty banter and a slow build up of romance and trust.

Rachael's writing style was appealing and made the book fun and fast placed. There were a couple of times near the beginning where the sudden change in point of view confused me because of the third person narrative. Then there was another time when the word "moist" was used in a kissing scene. I don't know about you, but that was a total mood killer for me. I think I actually cringed while reading it. But other than that, everything else went smoothly! Working It Out had some drama which helped keep the readers engaged and pace the story without making it angsty.

Overall, Working It Out was a cute, fluffy read great for romance lovers.

I knew before I started reading this book that I would enjoy it. I have read a few of Rachael Renee Anderson's books in the past and have not found one that I didn't like.

Rachael does a wonderful job of creating characters that are easy to like. They seem like real people that you could find living down the street from you.

Grace is roped into helping out her partner by attending an auction to raise money for underprivileged children. The auction is for available bachelors, the women are bidding for a date. He has a girlfriend and doesn't want to go out with anyone else, even for a good cause. Grace is there to ensure that money goes to charity, and he stays in the good graces of his girlfriend. While there, a handsome man bids on her partner and then kisses her.

It doesn't take long for her to meet Seth. He is a daredevil who loves to enjoy life. They meet when he tears his ACL in a skiing trip. Seth comes to see Grace as his physical therapist. This leads to many funny situations. I smiled in many places and chuckled from time to time.

My favorite character wasn't one of the main two. Her name is Lanna, she is the young lady who runs the center for underprivileged children. At first I hoped she and Seth would find a happily ever after together, even thought they have feelings for each other of brother and sister. I changed my mind and love the part of the story that Lanna plays.

This book is cute and clean. ( )

What happens when a chance meeting between opposites occurs and sparks of attraction ensues?

Grace Warren is one of Seattle's top physical therapists. She's a strong independent woman who plays it safe and follows the rules.

Seth Tuttle is a wealthy website consultant for start-up internet companies. He is outgoing and lives life to the fullest, he enjoys taking risks and participating in extreme sport adventures.

When a chance meeting at a charity bachelor auction ends with an expected kiss between strangers, what are the chances that their paths would cross again? Flash forward a few weeks later, their paths cross a second time when Seth is recuperating from a knee operation after a heli-skiing accident in Alaska and Grace becomes his physical therapist. With humorous banter, drama, sizzling chemistry and mutual attraction, can opposites work it out and take a chance on love?

Working It Out is a thoroughly enjoyable and clean romance story that made me smile from start to finish. Author Rachael Anderson weaves a fun romantic tale that has a great mixture of humor and drama, an engaging cast of characters, witty dialogue, and a positive upbeat storyline that has a lot of depth to it.

I love stories that features when two opposite people attract, and this story did not disappoint me. From their awkward beginning filled with humorous banter, to a growing attraction that develops into a sizzling chemistry, I enjoyed following the progression of Grace and Seth's relationship. I loved the humor, wit and flirting that occurs between these two lovable characters, their growing friendship brought out the best in each other, and their ability to compromise and take a chance on love was realistic and believable. And if that wasn't enough to keep me captivated, the author weaves in a dramatic subplot filled with emotional ties between Grace and her brother Alec, and Seth and his dead best friend's wife Lanna that simply tugged at my heartstrings.

Working It Out is a sweet romance story about family, friendship and love that is filled with drama, passion, emotion and humor, it is an entertaining story that will leave the reader smiling.

4 STARS

Working it Out was fun to read. It had some nice messages in it too. I like the characters and understand their motives. I have to admit I am more on Grace's side, then over Seth's side when it comes to the extreme sports.
At times it is funny, so touching and then maddening at all the risks Seth takes. It is a clean read. I read it in one easy session.

Seth has money and wants to help his late friend's sister Lanna with his money for her afterschool program. Lanna does not want his money but offers him to be one of the bachelors . Seth declines.

Seth shows up in sweats at the auction even though its a black tie affair. He bids on the last man against Grace. He ends up paying 20,000 dollars for a date with Cameron. Seth thinks he is smart to force Lana to take his money. He had outbid Grace who was their to bid on her co-worker Cameron at his request.

Seth kisses Grace at the auction to prove he is not gay and only wanted to help support the charity.

Seth is into extreme sports big time until he injures himself and ends up in physical therapy with Grace and he does not even recognize Grace at first.

Grace's brother Alex is in a wheelchair after a accident when they were in high school skiing. Grace blames herself and that's why she is a physical trainer.

Grace teaches Seth that programs need money but they also need people to be involved and maybe if he helped volunteer his time Lana would let him help her. Also she would stop being mad at him. Once Seth starts getting involved he sees how he can help make a difference in lives.

Seth helps Alex learn to enjoy sports again also helps Grace to relax and have fun trying things.
I really like the characters and how they were changing for each other. They were all growing. I was rooting for them to workout their differences. I cared about them. While the characters did change they were believable changes.
This is I believe my first book I have read of Rachael's and I plan to read more of her work in fact I already have it on my kindle waiting for me.

I was given this ebook to read and in exchange asked to give honest review and be part of Working It Out blog tour.
