The story continues with Brian and Abby looking at their relationship - what it is and what it could be. With all they have shared as friends can they really move forward for more? Great story development that has you biting your nails whether you are part of Team Connor or Team Brian. Highly recommended read. By: Violet Duke Published By: V.D. Age Recommended: Adult Reviewed By: Arlena Dean Rating: 5 Series: Nice Girl to Love #2 Review: "Falling for the Good Guy" By Violet Duke was the second in this series: 'Nice Girl to Love' was another good contemporary romance where you will be quickly drawn into this series. This series was of Abby and Brian's story. This author does a good job at the scenes of working it through the funny and sexy ones. I felt this this book was a very emotional one as Abby will be trying to 'get over Connor Sullivan.' So, from this read it will deal with Brian's daughter Skylar, who has had a seizure which will cause some concern due to her mother's tragic death. Two best friends now lovers and Abby has been with both brothers? Can Abby have loved both brothers? Well, this is some read and we can only hope that in this authors' last series will clear it all up for us and at least please no more cliff hangers! As we wait her next and last series: 'Choosing the Right Man.' Zeige 3 von 3 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

Abby Bartlett is well aware that everyone thinks she's in love with her best friend, Brian. He is, after all, the type of man a nice girl should be with-the polar opposite of the bad boy-the kind of guy who didn't let his wife's decade-long illness stop him from showering her with a lifetime of love every second until her dying day. Yes, Brian has been the yardstick against which Abby has measured all other men. But everyone's wrong; she couldn't possibly be in love with him. Because she's never once allowed herself that option. It's taken a while but Brian Sullivan has finally come to terms with being a widower at the age of thirty, surviving the woman he spent half his life loving, a third of it losing. Truth is, though, he wouldn't have 'survived' any of it had it not been for Abby-sweet, incredible Abby-the woman he's never once had to picture his life without, never realized he couldn't truly live without. Until now. Now that he's finally able to love her the way she deserves, the way he knows she wants to be loved . . . by his brother. Who's giving him exactly one chance to speak now or forever hold his peace. Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |

Again, Violet makes you pay attention & think. It's easy to see her characters as people you know. They are well develops & easy to love/hate. I have laughed, cried & wanted to smack them at different times during this & Book 1. I love the way Violet makes me feel so much emotion in her books. ( )
