It wasn't bad or disappointing, so much as it just felt incredibly sparce. I like that we got to have some insight into Four's mother, how she was and what she did. I like that we saw how Four chose, and watched him go through the same initiation with some smaller, different details. It feels rough and very much a beginning, though, so I'm hoping to see more as we go. Especially about how Four wanted to be the best of every section and how/why he got the tattoo at which point in his life. I'm hopeful this series will continue to be truly amazing, telling a different story in the world we've come to love. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

This was a really good story, and a promising start to a fairly large series of books and stories. This is my second time through the series, but the first time reading all of it, and in the order of events, not just release. ( )
