Meliantha is a Princess of the Summer Court and one of Calista's younger sisters. Mel is a strong woman who has been hurt by the one person she never expected to hurt her. Due to this she has guarded her heart and became a skilled fighter.
Kalen is a Prince of the Winter Court and one of Ryder's younger brothers. Kalen thought he and Meliantha were meant to be together, but she refused to see him. Now he's moved on and is about to be engaged.
You guessed it...Alasdair is back and this time he's after Meliantha's powers. He's managed to keep Mel and Kalen apart for 5 years but now they know he's back. This time he takes over Kalen's body and escapes leading Meliantha on a race to save Kalen.
We are introduced to few other types of Fae in this book. The Tyvars are one of them. As soon as I was introduced to them I was left holding my breath wondering what was gonna happen next. The Tyvars are one of the obstacles that Mel faces on her journey to save Kalen from Alasdair. Will Meliantha survive the Tyvars? Can she save Kalen before Alasdair kills him? Will he manage to get her powers? Will Alasdair escape them? To find out you will need to read the book. Don't worry you won't be disappointed.
Thank you L.P. Dover for another great read. You gave me a world to visit and get lost in. A escape from the real world. I fell in love with your characters and found myself experiencing the same emotional roller coaster ride as they did. I look forward to more great reads from you in the future. (
