I haven't read all of this series, choosing to read whatever happens to be on sale at the time. That said, there are a lot of previous characters in this book. A lot. It wasn't easy to keep them all in my head. I'm not sure if reading all of the books would have helped or not.

I liked it best when the story focused on Livy and Vic.

I'm guessing the next match up will be Shem and Melly. ( )

I so, SO needed this book. I've been having trouble reading lately. Normally when that happens, I go back to my keeper shelf and dive in. It works like a charm. This time I had trouble picking up anything long enough to do so. I grabbed this book by Shelly Laurenston on a whim. I've read several of her books and have always enjoyed them, but given my mood I didn't hold out a lot of hope. This book sucked me in from the start and refused to let go. I finished it within a few days, which for me is speed reading. I cannot recommend it enough if you're looking for a fun, light read. It was just what Santa ordered. :) ( )
