This was a fun short book, and while it was simple I had a lot of fun reading it and I guess it can be boiled down to it being silly to expect more from a crocodile and a scorpion. Crocodile and Scorpion were not very bright. Scorpion wanted to cross the river. He asked the crocodile for a ride. The crocodile resisted. They realized they both didn't have any friends because they were vicious. The scorpion and crocodile decided to be friends. The scorpion hitches a ride from the crocodile and the scorpion stung the crocodile, he couldn't help himself. The crocodile retaliated by biting the scorpion. They both sank to the bottom of the river and are still arguing to this day. The story is about a scorpion that wants to cross the river but has no friends to take him because he tends to sting them. The scorpion meets a crocodile that also has no friends because he can’t help to snap at them. The scorpion and crocodile decide they can be friends if they don’t sting or snap at each other. But old habits die-hard and the scorpion can’t help to sting the crocodile and the crocodile can’t control his reaction of snapping at the scorpion. The crocodile and scorpion had very tiny brains. They had no friends either because the crocodile would always bite and the scorpion would always sting. One day the scorpion wanted to cross the river but knew that he couldn't do it on his own. He asked the crocodile if he would help him cross the river. He agreed to help the scorpion cross only if he promised not to sting him. The crocodile promised not to bite him. Will the two keep their promises and make it safely across the river? keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
