Major cheating.

'Arsen' by Mia Asher is not your typical romance, in this broken love story

"People say that if you play with fire, you'll get burned?

Ben and Cathy met when they were in college and have been together for eleven years.
Arsen' is told almost entirely from Cathy's point of view, and all Cathy wanted was a baby more than she wanted anything... including a good man and an extremely wonderful marriage.

I was Team Ben until the end

In this whole book Ben was like a ray of sunshine, OMG I will not cheat on a man like that!! Ben's emotional breakdown upon Cathy's final admittance broke me! I WAS LIKE OMG Cathy!!!!! I want to shake you and slap you silly YOU HAVE BEN, screw Arsen.

Arsen was the rich bad playboy Cathy is captivated by his carefree attitude, I love that he called Cathy 'Dimples'. "There's a twinkle in his eyes as he lowers is smiling mouth to whisper in my ear, "Chill, Dimples. I'm just teasing you..." I want to like Arsen, I really did but I don't.

I love a love triangle, a bad boy, cursing and bad language and most of all dirty sex mostly on top an angst-ridden emotional roller coaster that will be on top of my list, even love and darkness and pain and my heart to break BUT I hate cheating inside a marriage.

In the greater part of the book I wanted to do this to Cathy:

The book was good but the ending of this book was the part which I loved the most.
This is not an easy story to read, you will either love it or hate it!

Great first book from this author. Definitely pulled me in. Usually I'm not a fan of books that involve cheating but this story was really good. ( )

This book left me with the biggest book hangover ever. I feel gutted and empty.

The emotions in Arsen are real and raw. With each page I turned, I felt more and more.

The Author did a fabulous job writing so the reader felt like they were living the lives of the characters. I honestly can't express how much I loved this book...

Cathy has it all, or so everyone thinks she has it all... She has a nice house, a perfect husband, and a dream job but something is missing. After experiencing multiple miscarriages she wants to be forget about that life and move on with new things. Arsen comes into the picture like a wildfire. He is hot, cocky, and Cathy is tempted. She tries to stay loyal, but eventually she gives in. Struggling with her feelings for two men she learns that she could risk losing both.

This book was just fabulous. It well written & provoked tons of thought. There was a lesson within it as well. About love and how things may seem better at first, but sooner or later you will regret and want what you once had. It makes you realize that lies flow out easily, but eventually you will get tangled up in them.

I truly highly recommend this book. ( )
