This informational text takes readers on a deeper look into the Cheetah Conservation Funds in Namibia, Africa, and what they are doing with cheetahs. This would be a great book to introduce students to wildlife preservation and interesting cheetah facts. The beautiful photos are also highly captivating. This would be a fitting book for those in upper elementary to early middle school as the text maybe a little more difficult. However, it could still be used in early elementary classrooms as the book consists of amazing pictures. This book is over 70 pages (total of 80 pages). This book not only gives great information, but also talks about saving cheetahs from extinction. I like that the book is told from the perspective of someone, the one who rescues them, who has dealt with cheetahs up close, something the kids would appreciate. There are some maps in here that give perspective relative to other countries as well. This gives facts about cheetahs in the wild, but also talks about rescuing cheetahs and nursing them back to health, then releasing them into the wild. I would use this book as an introduction to en endangered species unit for instance. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
