Excellent entry in the House of Trent series.

Sam Hawkins is the misfit, he's the son of the Duchess of Trent but not the son of the Duke of Trent. He's made a life for himself working for the government. He loves his half-siblings but doesn't feel like he's one of them.

He meets Elise, Lady Dunthorpe, under the worst of circumstances. He discovers her under the skirt of a table after he's murdered her husband.

But wait, she's happy he's gone. She'd like a new life and Sam might be the centerpiece of it.

For House of Trent lovers, the mother, the dowager Duchess of Trent, is found and her story told.

Great characters, wonderful plot, page-turner. ( )

Ms. Haymore pens another character driven story in her House of Trent series, third and my favorite of the three, or six, as there are three novella’s that are a part of this series too.

This is another great book in a series that is proving to be a very good surprise. The mystery that is woven through the books that keep the books tied together and yet each one holds up on its own. While the books can read as standalone books they are much better read in order as there is so much information and clues that help build the central plot of the books. This story as some great action that moves the story along at a fast pace and will have the reader turning the pages just to see what will happen next. The twists and turns that this one takes makes for a wonderful read. It is nice to see Sam get his happy ever after. This one will also leave readers hungry for more from this world that has been built with each and every book up until now. ( )

MY REVIEW:
Oh wow! I didn’t expect this story, and I have to say, I am so friggen happy that I found this author. A Scoundrel’s Seduction is the third story in the House of Trent series.

Sam is in service for the crown and his latest mission places him in the path of Elise. Sam has a hard life behind him, one that makes him cynical, and all he wants to do is get in, get the job done, then go back to do what he has to for the crown. Meeting Elise changes everything. It strikes something deep, but seeing as he doesn’t believe he deserves anything more, he fights against it. She, of course, is equally untrusting at first….well, because she saw him murder her husband. ;)

Ms. Haymore has written a fantastic story and earn herself yet another stalker….myself. The forging of a bond through these two characters is something you won’t forget. Get it today! ( )
