Emil is stolen his money from thief in the carriage on his way to visit grandmother. His stolen money was only seventy pounds, but it was a lot of money to Emil's family because they are poor. So Emil got off the place that thief got off the carriage. Because Emil have to catch the thief to get his money back. Then he makes a lot of friend there. And he form detective group to catch the thief.

The last scene of this book is that I didn't imagine. So if you read this book, you may be surprised at the last scene. ( )
