Judith finds herself drawn to this man who is not quite as rough as the other shipboard employees, but not quite as elegant as her noble family. Another sweet shipboard romance in this series, riddled with the same kinds of miscommunication, misunderstandings, and failure to spill "secrets" )which would make everything okay and cause less hurt and heartache) as the rest of the proceeding books. I nitpick, but I also love this family and will continue to read anything this author continues to write about them. After more than 20 years, I feel like they're my friends. I didn't realize this is the latest in a long series of books. I thoroughly enjoyed it and have decided I am going to go back to the beginning so that I can learn about the colorful characters who are now doting parents to our young heroine.
Good story flow. A couple of unanswered questions but that just makes for nice lead into the next in the series, and I have no doubt there will be a next.
