This is such a fun, little book. This fantasy book lets students fantasize about how friendly and positive the world would be if the kids ran the world. ( )

A group of kids go through life figuring out what needs need to be met and what is most important to them in this complex world, these boys and girls figure out that it is very important to help each other. This story takes place in a colorful treehouse and their goals are to help the hungry, give medicine to the sick, supply safe housing, education, and religion to those in need, and teach people how to treat the world with care. This book is a good book to implement into the classroom because it is a good way to help students realize the bigger picture in the world and that is to help others and surround themselves with positive people. This is a good book to use in a 4-8 classroom because it will teach them about kindness and positive behavior, and how to help others within the classroom. My favorite thing about this book is how relatable it is. At some point every kid wishes they were in charge. A twist in this book that I didn't expect was the changes kids would make. This book shows that kids realizes more than we think. You'd think they'd wish for no school and candy and toys but the first few things mentioned are things about world hunger, bullying, and inclusion. It shows a different side of children. This book would be good for k-3 and they could have a discussion about things they'd change themselves. I think it'd be a great opportunity to get to know your students on a different level. I love that the theme and most important thing of this book is love, so many things are centered around money now. ( )

This book shares topics that children find the most important in this world. It addresses poverty and hunger and ways to help them. It also focuses on the power of love.
