I've never felt so bad about giving a three-star review -- because this is the Ritchie sisters, and I love everything they write. This book is amazing, and I would have adored it if I hadn't already read Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower. Because, as much as I love these authors, Thrive doesn't have enough new material to warrant 400 pages. I went into Thrive knowing that it occurs during the same time period as Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower, the first two books in the Calloway Sisters spin-off series. I thought it might focus more on what was going on in Lily and Lo's life while Lily's sisters were dealing with their own stuff, but it's really more like Lily and Lo's reaction to the events of the other books. Sure, it gives a little background into why Lo was so adamantly against Ryke and Daisy's relationship, or what Lily was thinking during the filming, but it's still the same events from the previous books. The writing is great and the story is good -- if you haven't already read Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower. Unless you're a die-hard fan of the Ritchie sisters, you can probably skip Thrive in favor of the more exciting spin-off novels. Zeige 3 von 3 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

Two years will change them forever. When rumors spread like wildfire--like having three-ways with her boyfriend's rock climbing brother--Lily Calloway spirals into a dark place. Her bedroom. Loren Hale is more confident and determined to keep their sex life private, even from their friends, and he helps Lily in the only way he knows how. But how much love is too much? Their lives are filmed, watched, and criticized. And through it all, Lily and Loren have to face enemies they never thought they'd see, demons they don't know if they should bury, and setbacks they didn't think they'd meet. Not this soon. And one rumor could be too much for them to handle. It will test their greatest limitations, and if they don't hold onto each other, someone is going to drown. ---- The Addicted Series is now complete and perfect for binge-readers! 1. This book follows Lily and Lo through the same events from Kiss the Sky and Hothouse Flower and a little beyond. Even if you read those two books I highly recommend reading this book as you see more things from Lily and Lo's point of view that were missed from the first two books.

The Addicted/Calloway Sisters series has been an amazing ride from the very first book. It's been a while since I last read a book from the series, but I'm feeling great after this read. It's an amazing new kind of romance. While I love Lily and Lo as well and Rose and Conner, Daisy and Ryke are my favorite couple. They compliment each other so perfectly well and I am hoping that at least one more book is going to be from their point of view. ( )
