This is a book of poems that follows The Boys Choir of Harlem. Throughout this book, the poems are talking about different aspects and obstacles that they have to go through when they are preparing to sing and actually singing. This poetry book is very informative, accurate, and even has a glossary in the back for referencing. I did not particularly enjoy this book but I did like how the author varied the writing style throughout the book. He would change the style depending on what the subject of the poem was about. I thought that this was smart because it kept you wanting to read and finish the poem to figure out what it was written the way it was. ( )

Review: This is such a good poetry book because the reader can really feel the passion for music that the boys of the choir have. It doesn't always rhyme, but it does sometimes. And it often times has a rhythm to it.
