Unfortunately to reach that chapter it is necessary to wade through very technical Luther analysis, and McGrath's early writing style was not easily accessible. Slices of Latin - large slices in the footnotes - and the ponderous use of the authorial plural make a dense writing style denser still. By the 1980s that style, and the use of 'man' in the exclusive so-called 'generic' sense were unnecessary. They mar an important study. ( ) keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
