"Even when he was a kid, Albert Einstein did things his own way. He thought in pictures instead of words, and his special way of thinking helped him understand big ideas like the structure of music and why a compass always points north. Those ideas made him want to keep figuring out the secrets of the universe. Other people thought he was just a dreamer, but because of his curiosity, Einstein grew up to be one of the greatest scientists the world has ever known."--Amazon.com.… (mehr)

This book tells the story of Albert Einstein. It takes readers through the beginning of his life until he wins a Nobel Prize. There is a consistent theme throughout the book that it's ok if you're different because you're capable of anything. It details many of the faults of Albert Einstein, including a few bad grades that he received. The book also encourages readers to always be curious and ask questions.
I would use this book for grades 1-4th. I like that it has a positive message for readers while also informing about Albert Einstein. This is a great book to use to introduce gravity because it talks about how Albert proved his theory about energy. ( )

A great book for younger kids that encourages them to never stop questioning "Why?". While informing the reader about Einsteins life the book also gives out several lessons for kids who also might feel excluded like the subject of the book. ( )

Albert Einstein's life didn't start off easy. He wasn't like the average person. While other kids liked playing outside, Albert Einstein liked doing puzzles and creating toy boats to sail in water. One of Albert's teachers thought he would never amount to anything, but that wasn't true. Albert Einstein created the theory of relativity and it forever changed how we understand the universe. Albert then won a Nobel Prize in Physics for this theory. This book is great for younger children because it breaks down the life of Albert Einstein in a way that would be easy for them to understand. It starts the day he was born and goes through the struggles he faced to become the person he is known as today. I really liked this story because it shows children that their dream can be possible as long as they don't give up. ( )

This book is a brief biography of Albert Einstein’s life. It starts with his birth and continues until his Nobel prize for physics. Its illustrations are fun for children to look at, equip with talking bubble and funny dialogue that makes this biography pleasant for children to enjoy. Is has a message to ask questions, be different, and working hard. ( )
