After many years Tess has come back to her home town to sell her mother‘s home. At this time it was a flashback to twenty years earlier for Tess when she was kidnapped at the age of four. Now that she is in her home town children started going missing again. Tess doesn’t remember what happened to her when she was kidnapped at the age of four. However, months later she was found walking down a deserted road. Well, coming home now the town put her through turmoil battering her with questions that she had no answers for because children were missing again. This was a suspenseful, harrowing, intense descriptive story that kept me intrigued to the end. The setting was in a creepy small town that featured many suspects and various weird characters with a lot of twist and turns, event and happenings to keep the reader intrigued. I enjoyed the setting, the way the story was told and all the little crazy happenings throughout the book. Quite the series of events occurs while Tess is in town. She starts falling in love & memories start returning in reference to her own kidnapping. Tess has a great desire to help find the other missing girls and keeps searching for more memories, while trying to help out the sheriff she falls into some more trouble and ends up getting into some hairy situations and eventually abducted again. A must read to see how the chain of events plays out and if Tess is found and can be with her new found love. Storyline was good.
