The book shares different things the forest knows such as the seasons, animals, and plants. The imagery of the seasons and other things in the forest is also beautiful. I would recommend this book because it is great for young readers to learn new words within the context of the forest. This would be a good book for 1st and 2nd graders to read. ( )

This book is suitable for primary aged children. It follows the changing seasons in a forest as trees and animals change. Through the imagery, the book portrays to young children that the change of seasons means that the scenery as well as the aspects and needs of nature and animals change as well. I would use this in my classroom as a tool to teach my young students about the change of seasons. The imagery communicates each season very well, which I think is useful for young children to have strong visuals in order to deepen their understanding. ( )

This book had beautiful illustrations. It described all of the aspects of the forest, going through the different seasons. It would be a great book when talking about science or nature. ( )

This story is set in nature and follows the narrative of the fact that the "forest" sees every season and with every season comes beauty. The illustrations are bright and rich with great scenery and with every page I felt like I was in the forest following every season and the beauty that comes with it. I would definitely use this in my class to explore nature and express how every season has it's up and downs but the little things in between are what make it beautiful. It is easy to follow as the sentences are short and simple language is used. ( )
