Three Friends Find Spring, is a great book about the seasons and friendship. I really liked this book for a number of reasons. First, the characters were well developed and portrayed the importance of friendship. Duck is a character that is feeling gloomy about the weather, as he hates winter. His friends Squirrel and Rabbit come to his rescue and try to cheer him up by showing him fun winter activities. For example, “On Saturday morning Rabbit and Squirrel knocked on Duck’s door. “Duck, we have come to help you enjoy winter,” said Rabbit. “We want you to go skating with us,” said Squirrel. These characters showed Duck that winter could be fun and the importance of good friends. Next, this book had great illustrations that enhanced the story. The Illustrations really depicted the seasons and the weather outside. While reading the story the scenery of the seasons came alive. Lastly, I really liked the plot because it was well organized and well developed. The story presented the importance of friendship and contains constant mishaps between the three friends. This keeps the audience laughing and reminds you that friendships are important but not always perfect. How the three friends find spring brings upon many chuckles. Overall, the main idea of this story is how friends can still have fun together despite if they like or dislike the season they’re in during the year. ( ) keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
