This book is teaching the alphabet in a clever way. On each page is a different letter and examples of words that start with that letter. For example for the letter A, there is a picture of an apple with an ant, and the sentence states, an Ant on an Apple. I would use this book for for students who are learning their Alphabet. One lesson I would have to go along with this book would be, each student gets one letter, and a color sticker that corresponds with that letter, go around the room, and put a sticker on objects that they think starts with that letter, and them we would make a list as a class of words that start with each letter around our classroom.

I liked the "ABC" book by Bruno Munari, because I enjoyed looking at the bright and bold illustrations, that the young children would definitely appreciate. Each page includes at least 2-3 different objects that represent a certain letter. Each letter of the alphabet is big and bold, but the words themselves are written in a small font. I guess they are written mainly for the adults, rather than the kids. This book would be a great tool for the little kids to learn the names of the objects, as well as the beginning readers to learn the alphabet. Ages 1-4 ( )

This is a simple ABC book with vibrant colors and classic pictures. The positioning of the letters in combination with the pictures make this simple book interesting.

What makes this ABC book stand apart from the crowd is it's bold graphic design. It's a classic among alphabet books. The colors are vibrant, the design of the double-page spreads is simple and large-format. There's some unexpected object choices, too. It's a visually strking book. I enjoyed it a lot. ( )
