An excellent collection of the Worst Persons from COUNTDOWN; it's probably better to read this book in chunks instead of reading it all in one sitting, taking it one month of entries at a time. It's gotten me very excited for PITCHFORKS AND TORCHES' release later this year, that's for sure! ( )

Parts of this book are very funny, and parts are interesting and serious. Putting the two parts next to each other doesn't work very well. Funny bits: 4 stars; serious bits: 3.5 stars; combination: 3 stars. ( )

I have never seen Keith Olberman's TV show on MSNBC. My only knowledge comes from bits on YouTube that political bloggers post. Olberman is that rarest of birds: the liberal talker in the So-Called Liberal Media (SCLM). He is getting famous for "telling it like it is" to people like the president by pointing out painfully obvious failures in a pithy and often amusing fashion. Evidently, he has a piece on his program entitled "The Worst Person in the World" where his writers take on several people who have done stupid, crass, thoughtless or
