So clever! The wordplay is richer than one might guess, and richer than most early-reader books. Bonnie Bumble knitted the Baa back into the lamb.... The expressions on the animals' faces (and their body language) are priceless. Root is so talented, and Candlewick Press is my favorite publisher. ( )
