[Siren Sensations: Erotic Consensual BDSM Romance, voyeurism, public exhibition, sex toys, HEA] After twenty-five years of marriage, Jenny wants to try something new with her husband, Mike. Her book club's been reading BDSM fiction. It's piqued her curiosity enough to make her want to brave a local munch and try things with her husband. Mike loves Jenny and would do anything for her. But memories of the abuse his mom suffered haunt him, and he refuses to be "that" man. When Jenny tells Mike she wants them to try BDSM, he attempts to keep an open mind despite his personal issues about it. While meeting people from the local community, Mike makes an effort to give Jenny what she needs despite his desires warring with his conscience. Once his shock and surprise wear off over who he discovers is involved in the alternative lifestyle, Jenny and Mike start forging a new path. But will that journey lead them apart, or bring them closer together? ** A Siren Erotic Romance Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |

We get to glimpse into the process that Mike and Jenny go through, from their first conversation, their surprise that people in the lifestyle look and act just like “normal” people, and that friends and co-workers are already in the lifestyle – people they would never suspect of living out those needs and desires.
Mike has pre-conceived ideas that BDSM is just a form of abuse, and has difficulty embracing the concept that it isn’t, that it is consensual, and something his wife really wants. After some time spent exploring the lifestyle, and guidance from Tony, reading Shayla’s articles, and exploring his wife’s books with her, he slowly comes to terms with his beliefs, and attempts to become the partner his wife is seeking.
This is a realistic look at what a newbie may actually go through emotionally and physically on the journey into embracing the lifestyle.
The book was short, and didn’t have the sexual kink, or the emotional tug that many of Tymber’s books have, in fact it almost felt like a well written BDSM 101 primer.
For me it was a 4 star read just because it was enjoyable and I didn’t have to get all tied up in the characters and their emotions
