The idea for Journey for Lushland was conceived by co-author Bennett "Sandy" Masin's ongoing work of counting positive heartbeats while doing positive activities with a concept called DEEPEST that stands for (D)rinking Clean Water, (E)ating Nutritious Foods, (E)xercising to Your Ideal Health, (P)raying with or Meditating with Positive Gratitude Heartbeats, (E)arn Your Sustainable Future, (S)erve Your Community Volunteer, (T)rust in a Positive Healthy World. This concept is gaining attention across the World. A parent suggested that it would be great for the youngest of children to be able to easily tell an adult why counting happy heartbeats is important. Drinking clean water is the first in the series. Reading the text and the vivid descriptions of the arid environment that will actually make you thirsty! Thirsty for an adventure full of twists on every page turn! Water is so important. Humans use it every day and every living thing needs it to live. Water covers over 70% of the Earth. Where would people be without water? This is exactly the problem that needs to be solved in the book. Experience a heart-throbbing journey as children turn into heroes on an urgent quest to save their communities. Our research spanned many cultures and time periods to learn about the importance of water for the human race to survive and thrive. As the population just reached 7 billion and is predicted to double in the not so distant future, solving water problems has become more urgent. Children face an overabundance of negativity that creates fear just about everywhere they turn. We decided to focus this story tackling a very serious topic on the positive activities of collecting happy heartbeats to make difference. Although this book is fiction, the reality is that you the reader can immediately practice lessons learned in the book at your very next heartbeat to experience new positive chapters in your lives.
