Humorous but a few uses of the f-word. Enjoyed his narrating style and the series of short stories went by super quick. Can't see the images from the book which the narrator makes jokes about and does his best to explain what the image looks like. Had heard about a 1/3 of the stories from his TED talks but there were still plenty of new ones. ( )

Why yes, yes this is the kind of humor I like.

I'm one of those folks who when scammers call I basically just mess around with them for the fun of it.

There's a reason we are on the do not call list.

Anyho w found Veitch and his book after seeing his Ted Talk and it definitely brightened my day each time I picked it up. I read it over the cours of a few days, usually whenever I felt stressed and it consistently made me smile or cackle.

By the way Solomon or Henry or Elena, feel free to email me I'd love to chat about what great opportunities you offered James. I promise to not promise that I'm promising to double cross my fingers I'm a legit person wanting some secret money transferred to me. ( )

A collection of transcripts in which comedian James Veitch responds to email scams and generally messes around with them until they give up. If you've seen him perform live and talk through some of these same email exchanges, reading them might feel a bit dry without his boyishly enthusiastic delivery, but this is still a fun, casual read. A quick and funny read. Who hasn't wanted to reply to a scammer and waste their time like they're trying to waste yours? It got a little repetitive, but was such a fast read. ( )
