Mooch the cat wakes from his nap under a tree to find himself ensconced in fog. Thinking he is in heaven, he sets out to explore. He finds it's a great place and it inspires him to act in a way they must in heaven. He takes another nap, the fog lifts and he awakes to find his best friend Earl asleep beside him. "What a great place," thinks Mooch. "Just like heaven." An appealing and simple story about appreciating the small things in life. I did not enjoy this book. The cat is imagining he is in heaven and the illustrations are dark and scary looking. On one of the pages it says that Mooch thought Heaven was a great place and it was wonderful. The illustrations on this page are grey and black with a tiny bit of dark green. It doesn't seem like a place that someone would love. Another reason I did not like this book is because at the end it still wasn't clear whether the cat was in heaven or not. The story starts with Mooch (the cat) taking a nap under a tree. Then Mooch is exploring the place he believes is heaven. Toward the end of the book it says Mooch ended up back at his favorite tree and took another nap. It never mentioned Mooch waking up before this. Then two pages later it says that Mooch woke up in a great place, just like heaven. The story was confusing. The main idea in this book is heaven being a wonderful place. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen

Rez.: Die 2. (Andrea Wanner) Keine Bibliotheksbeschreibungen gefunden. |
