I read many of the articles in The Best American Magazine Writing, 2014 when they were initially published. Having the opportunity to read them together has been delightful These articles are inspiring, thought-provoking and enraging. Steven Brill's masterpiece about our medical system and it's dysfunction, the Rolling piece on the younger brother in the Boston marathon bombing and the account of The Bounty were gripping. Lisa Miller's moving account of the aftermath of the Newtown school shooting and mass murder left me in tears. I read this anthology late into the night unable to put it down. A compelling read. Thank you to Netgalley for allowing me to read this review copy. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
