A likable hero and heroine, an interesting cast of secondary characters, a setting on the beautiful Northumberland Coast, and the ghost of the hero's late wife made for an entertaining read and something a bit different for a Harlequin Presents. ( )

Most of the drama was created by the heroine. It was really hard to like her. How stupid could she be, and she was supposed to be smart. This is the main reason why I did not enjoy this Harlequin as much as the others. Their chemistry was not strong. They need some more romantic development. The ghost was a little odd. I live in the States, so all the places were confusing. The only thing I like about this book is the hero, Jack. The hero is a big part of any romance book, so this book was not too bad.
