This is a superb book that is very easy to read, with real world examples of how to apply the techniques discussed. I have taken some of the concepts discussed and am applying them to other activities beyond a 5 day Sprint process. Thoroughly recommended. ( ) Having recently moved from a developer position to a product manager position this book gave some immediate suggestions on how to lead a team to create a new product or feature from scratch. Having been used on a number of products at Google including Gmail, it's great to know that it's working already. What was most useful for me was seeing the breakdown of what was done each day of the 5 day product sprint -- as well as what each person in the sprint would do. Some of the recommendations were key - like the need for a decision maker to be a part of the process to ensure that takeaways from the sprint are actionable. I look forward to trying out some of these concepts eventually! I read this book for ideas on teaching and learning -- how can students benefit from these insights when they work on, for example, their own group projects? And I think a lot of the ideas would work quite well, though the timeline is of course off. The different phases are useful, the individual detailed ideas are useful, the checklists of what you need, including snacks and what exact office supplies you need. I also like the emphasis the book puts on writing, careful listening, and collaboration. For now, I will rate it 5 stars until I do a few sprint rounds myself. First, the book is very interesting as it touches on different aspects of product design, including false signals (like users' reaction vs just their feedback). Second, every step of it feels well-tested and makes perfect sense. The only reservation I have is about devoting full week to it and requiring 5 unbiased users for the test, but that is probably the price you need to pay for a great sprint! keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
